The Anglican Bishops Council of India (ABCI)
Vision
By adherence to the rich history of Anglicanism, its deep traditions, and biblical orthodoxy the ABCI seeks to be a beacon of truth among the many “Fake Anglicans” mushrooming in India. The ABCI finds it imperative to send a clarion call to all faithful Anglican Bishops to arise as a united, strong, determined, and convincing force. This endeavor intends to safeguard the doctrinal sanctity and preserve and growing the impact of Anglicanism at regional, national, and global levels.
Tasks: The specific tasks that the ABCI has set itself to are as follows:
– represent the interests of the Anglican Churches to the Indian Government
– exchange of information among Anglican Bishops
– cooperation on common issues
– the establishment of contact and cooperation with Anglican jurisdictions around the globe
– the establishment of contact and dialog with contact Christians in other faith traditions to foster greater unity and cooperation in being vibrant witnesses to the Lordship of Jesus Christ
– provide for greater societal security and justice
– protect minority rights.
The ABCI by adherence to its rich history, tradition, and orthodoxy, seeks to eliminate “Fake Anglicans” mushrooming in India. In seeking to proclaim True Anglicanism, the ABCI finds it imperative to send a Clarian call to all faithful Anglicans to arise as a united, strong, determined, and convincing force. This endeavor intends to safeguard the Doctrinal sanctity and preserve the diminishing façade of Anglicanism at regional, national, and global levels.

– exchange of information;
– cooperation on common issues;
– the establishment of contact with episcopal communions around the globe;
– ecumenical contact;
– provide Social Security;
– and protect minority rights.
